Deacon Mike has served Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish as a deacon since his ordination in 2010. He currently serves as the Vice President of Mission & Values Integration for the five Mercy Hospitals in the Cincinnati Market. Prior to joining Mercy six years ago, he had a 35-year career in banking and investment management. Deacon Mike is an adjunct faculty member at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology. He currently teaches Christology and Ecclesiology to lay students in the Lay Pastoral Ministry Program and Theology of Marriage to Diaconate Candidates. He earned a Master of Arts in pastoral ministry from the Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology. Deacon Mike and his wife, Marjie, have lived in Anderson Township for 24 years and are blessed with two adult daughters and four (with another due in November) grandchildren.
