Deacon Mark was born and raised in northeastern Ohio, the middle child of five. The College of Engineering at UC brought him to Cincinnati where he has lived ever since. His wife, Sharon, and him recently celebrated our 47th anniversary. They have two married daughters and six grandchildren (three girls and three boys).
My diaconate ordination was in April of 2010. RCIA is his primary ministry at IHM, having been on the team since the mid 1990’s. Additionally he has served in the marriage ministry in a number of programs and taught 7th grade summer PRP for a number of years. Him and Sharon have also served as sacristans at IHM for over 15 years.
